History Oldsmobile flathead V-8

I don't want or need a new project, I don't even go to Egay or CL because I'm a compulsive buyer.

I just found (and will not buy) this Olds Flathead V-8 on Portlands C.L. I've seen a couple of these motors before but never for sale and $1200 seems fair till you try to rebuild it. it's a 1918 Olds just needs a turbo and EFI LOL

 

pretty cool though, make an olds boat tailed speedster

 

I googled it and found it was 246 cubes rated at 60 horse. pretty good in 1918 with a 3 speed sliding gear transmission. be a good race for fords v-8 60
