Hi everyone! I am rebuilding a 1949 Olds 303 for use in my hot rod. The engine I am rebuilding apparently had 1.8 rockers on one side, and 1.5 rockers on the other!! Obviously I don't want to do that.
Does anyone have either a 1.5 setup or a 1.8 setup that they would sell, or trade? Perfect for me would be to trade the 1.8 for a 1.5 even steven, but I am open to any suggestions.
    thanks,
    Jack

Put the 1.8s on the exhaust side?

So you could run either the stock 1.5 ratio or use the 1.8 for a slight bump in performance. Probably not a good idea to split them between intake and exhaust, that's too much of a difference in ratios. Check the piston to valve clearance anyway, especially if you're using upgraded pistons for more compression.

I have the stock rockers you need and will trade for the 1.8 ones you have. Gary
