How about some more photos of this? Me, I like it just as it is! Is this a recent import to France or been there all its life? going to be in Bergerac next month, looking forward to it. cheers.
I am loving this two tone look laying low. The body style really lends itself to a low stance. Very nice
'55 Starfire 98 Conv unfinished mild custom. Could be made original. Second owner. Might be for sale soon.

53 chev in the works 303 hydro, but starting to lean toward a ford box. so much to learn and so little time.
Well, here's my '50 88. Got it from my Pa-n-law. Pretty good deal if I may say so! Three on the tree, good n tight, '56 324 with good sounding duals, driveable with just enough tinkeritis to make it fun, & being my first Olds, a fountain of good knowledge & parts from Wayne Ardo. I gotta little work to do to her but, Man I gotta tell ya, I like this car! Not many of these around where I live. Anyhow, Thanks for letting me post & for all the Great Welcomes. These pictures are from when the transport dropped her off, I havent even seen her since she got to Ms! More to follow. <!-- / message -->
I'll have to find a better picture. This was in the "almost done" phase. 1964 Super 88 http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p257/Gromitdog/truck001.jpg
heres mine after the bags...53 olds 98 4 dr. original 303 and hydramatic. rear 4 link and bags all around...
This Oldsmobile has been sold by Oldsmobile France in 1950, so it's always been in France. It's in pretty good condition. It looks better in the pic than in real. I'm stripping it down to bare metal and I want to keep it bare metal for a while. I will paint the top in gold metal flake. I will also install an original tri carb which I just found in PA. When I'm done with this, it will be published in the new mag CAST IRON (French and English) www.lamf-magazine.com I'll post some pics as soon as I'm done with this. NiCO
I bought my 53 Olds on eBay almost 10 years ago. Been a great car as my last 52. Here are some original shots that were used in the eBay sale. Nothing really has changed much over the years. It had 14 inch wheels with the old bias ply tires. I put 15 inch wheels with newer WW tires on and upgraded the carpet and exterior chrome. Just keep it maintained and drive it at times. Here are a few more recent bigger recent pics of my 53 Olds 88 2 dr. . These pictures were taken a few years ago at the end of cruises. Here is a picture with my boss 40 years later than my Avatar photo. Grandkids out for ice cream this year.
I do not know where my friend saw this 53 Olds Fiesta pedal car but it is one of the best I have seen. You may enjoy looking at it also. Some kids have all the luck. **Neons** Bob
I drove a white 64 Cutlass in high school. Red bucket seat interior with a 4 speed. If I could have any car I have owned it would be a toss up between that or the 66 442 4 speed car I was second owner on. I actually have dreams about the 64. I have also had a 55 2 door hardtop Super 88, a 57 2 door post with a stickshift and my first hotrod was built around a J-2 engine with an adapter and Ford tranny. Right now I am seriously considering a 66 Toronado that has came up for sale cheap.

I gotta 55 Olds S88 4dr Holiday. I absolutely love this car. Whenever I take her out, it's hard to find someone else with one. Sure parts are a little harder to get, but all worth it. Basically a complete stock car. Even though I really wanted a 2dr, when you have kids the sdn is a lot easier to go cruising with.
Here is my (baby) 1955 98 Holiday Sedan. Bought her from the original owner. She came with all documentation from new. Has all options, and everything still works. Needs paint, but she's a real time capsule! There are lessons to be learned from the Greatest Generation....They sure know how to save documentation!
Wow Guys! There are so many nice Oldsmobiles in this thread. Just too many to comment on. I like them all. I hope more keep coming to this time capsule. **Neons** Bob
