I just want to ask- and it's fine by me- is this now going to be a ' post your Olds and any cool ones you found ' post? As the title is post your Olds. Personally I'm happy to see any Olds. Just I've got a few photos to put up. So I'll post them up until I hear otherwise. What's the crowd think? After all, some owns these cars
Charlie, when did you get your first Olds or motor? when did the love affair start? You've been flying the flag locally for many years I know. Good to see the collection
Mate , my love affair started when still at school, I spotted a white '54 Olds 88 2 door parked on the side of the road near where I lived. I thought that was the most beautiful car I had ever seen, any way long story short I ended up owning it in '72 & painted it black. Really enjoyed that car ,I took it to the first Street Machine Nationals in Griffith in '75. Then I happened to be in a w recking yard in Fairfield & noticed a '303 rocket & auto sitting in the showroom, I ended up getting that & put it in a '36 ford sedan I had , & as they say the rest is history.
Installed firewall mounted dual circuit master with my son. Later that weekend, he did his first burnout in the 57 Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
Anybody have the front fender and door trim for a '50 Olds, would like to get both sides, driver quality or a few dents and dings is ok. If this needs to be removed I understand, not many people look at the "wanted" section. Thanks ,BigO
Though my '66 doesn't make the cutoff, these less than common parts were also used on earlier cars. Tic Tic Tach and 4 speed console with vacuum gauge. For the car I'm gonna fix up one day.
