Howdy gentlemen, a "slant" on some good news ........ Quicktime has finally come out with their long promised SFI 6.1 bell for those of us running the slant six. It's pricey, at over 7 bills delivered, but it's a good piece. Comes as a kit; with plate, adapters for both size noses on factory 3 & 4 speeds, A & B body fork pivots, and plenty of nuts & bolts. May eventually be orderable for other gearboxes for a bit more. The only thing I've noticed so far is that the fork pivot mount holes don't match the drillings in the bell for'em. Not a problem for me, as I'm modifying that anyway. Here're a couple pictures of the bell & plate, and one of the adapter rings for the gearbox nose. I can hardly wait 'til I can get the time to put'er together. I'm having a steel flywheel made to go with it.
