Kewl bloke! This here is m' bro & his pals on a trip to Birdsville pub & Cameron's Corner back in August. Re-grease car each morning 'coz the roads(!) turned grease to slush by lunchtime on the corrugations.. There is a thread regards this trip in 'Folks of Interest'.
The slog from central Michigan to Bowling, Ky for Goodguys in the faux Studillac and Tom G's Starliner. Cold and rainy all the way there and frigid for the show/race. Of course the ride home was sunny.
This will be a cool thread, Early AM chasing lines across IA headed to Bonneville. Late AM still chasing Dad And my Uncle Finally caught'em. You can see I was in the lead. Crossing IA again, this time in my F100 292, 3:73 at 75MPH with short dumps and half glass packs. A few weeks ago I found out at night when you let off at 80mph it backfires and lights up the whole road....First time it scared the hell out me, but several more times I was laughin' my ass off.
This was when I was out yesterday squeezing in more driving time before the snow arrives. I prefer not putting snow tires on the roadster. This is overlooking the Philadelphia skyline:
