On-the-Tree Shift Knob Ideas – Got Any?

    Not real sure. He worked at a Hobby Lobby if you have one of them. They were broken lamps headed for the dumpster so he "gained" these for me.

    When I was in high school my first car was a '50 chevy, three on the tree, very stock. I used a flathead piston for a shift nob. All I had to do between second and third was push in the clutch, with the weight if the piston, it would fall into third by itself keeping my hand on the leg of my girlfriend. That's most likely one of the reasons I love flattys today....

    Heat and bend the end of the lever up 90 degrees,
    then you can use a regular style shift knob.
