I'd rather have the green truck in the background with all the wood on it.

IMHO customs look good that low, HOT RODs ..not so good.

There's a line or two about in the newest Street Rodder in the coverage from a rainy day show last year. Driver was OK, tub didn't fare so well... but they didn't say just how bad it was.
The silver sedan beside it in the first pic is his old man's.

I like em... and the fact that you could pick one up at any truckstop or parts store makes it even cooler, especially after you knock one off hitting a chipmunk!:D

  19. I likes it too. Too bad if it got popped.
Really looks like a gas to drive.
Could the grill be off of a tractor?

I saw it at the Northeast Nats this fall. Lots of cool details. I liked the shifter and the old washing machine badges. Personally I would have given it some rake. Here are pics from the show coverage.

39 Dodge, I agree they do look tractorish without fenders. I wouldn't like to meet it oncoming at night.

It was punched pretty good in the back on the trip home from Pa.
Rather than knocking it out because of how bad it was, The damaged area was replaced with a 'new' section from another car.
I saw this one going together..It IS a pretty wild car..
One of the thing's the owner wanted was for it to be LOW AND drivable.
It get's the wheels driven off it.
Gary (the owner) drove down to the Jalopy Showdown with us last year..
in the rain, ALL the way there and back!
    Sorry no other pics Mat..
    How you been anyway? :)

Figures, the heap's got a small block chevy in it and someone notices cheap turn signals?! It's got the generic motors mill in it, what could be more boring?

I agree 100%. The how low can you go thing is for customs, low riders and race cars.

But I do understand it's all personal taste.

I'm also sorry to hear of it getting wrecked.

You said it all, The car gets driven. Who cares what kind of turn signals they are?I bet that they are harder to see when the car p***es at 70 MPH. I dig it.
