one for the Bakersfield crowd

Been meaning to throw this up here for awhile, just now getting life back together and getting motivated to work on cars again.

This was my Dads taken in circa 1940-1941. Residents of will certainly
know the dealership although the building predates my memory.

My Dad, Earl Harris, is 5th from the right, the youngest and greasiest.

I have an incomplete recollection both from Dad and Stan Dow that the 5th from the left was a local Midget racer who was tragically killed on the track in town.
I keep thinking Jesse...??? was his name. Any ideas from a local?
