This is a picture(in motion) of my uncles 60 bel air aka crankin 60 aka twister this photo was taken at RSD at wir... real street drags at wisconsin international raceway last night, some of you may know the car or may have seen it before but pictures of it 'doin what it does best' never get old
What a shot. That left front tire must never hit the ground, still has the sticker on it, HaHa. What speed/et does it run? Great looking car. The FOGGER
if i remember right,, 10.30s -10.40s range mph is 128???? cant rember off hand but him and the car is super consistant in braket racing, he does alot of the nostalgia (sp?) races threw the car club he is in.. car/motor WILL go faster BUT he dont want to go threw the havingto be licenced to go faster than 10.0- 9.99 car is still a metal body to except for the hood, still has gl*** front and rear windows, and i belve the doors are lexan windows, put mufflers on it and drive it on the street oh and the car will twist more than that, he has the rear end chained to keep it in 'control' but would crank and destroy the rear 1/4
That car has been an Interent sensation for quite a few years now. He could probably market that car and actually get appearance money from some tracks. Hey, check out the facial expression of the guy in the red shirt!
he is paid to 'show up and make a few p***es' with it the guy in the red shirt that looks like he **** him slef is brian, aka tuffenuff he is the owner/ creator of real street drags, runs a nasty nasty 66? blowin injected alky big block
That car is one of my all time favorite launches! Totally love it. Just can't believe the doors stay shut, and the windows do't blow out!!-MIKE
hehehe figured you fellas would enjoy it!! i wish he would let me drive it.... i would probabbly release every form of body fluid possible AT THE SAME TIME launching like that!!! nothing if had would do that, i had a t bird that would crank one tire about 2 inches, ( 88 turbo coupe) and i had amodded awd eagle talon that would snap the front tires up about 3 inches ( 50/50 center diff) but it only did it twice,
here are some videos to add to the excitment of his car this was from halloween havoc last fall he won the wheelie contest, and right after the camera stoped rolling clipped the wall http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Rick-Johnson-Wheelie_192782.htm this one is ***led impala BUT as you can see its his car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6jo6gVug48
Reminds me of "The Eradicator", campaigned by "Pappy's Dyno Shop" back in the 70's in the Wichita area. Too cool.
yup, quite the show. Ron often runs with the Midwest G***ers, me too. I have lined up next him a few times. Rather intimidating. Funny thing is, we ran against each other twice one night and he cut a perfect light not once, but BOTH times! He couldn't believe it either.
ron??? you mean rick?... yeah he can drive!! it must be in our family blood?? he races, my sister usedto race off road racing ( s.o.d.a. before it was c.o.r.r.) and i drag race, along with my wife
