Either early this morning ar late last night some one tossed these in the field close to my house. Not sure what they are from. But thought you guys could help before I toss them in the steel bin. You gotta keep the neighorhood clean. The number on the heads (d3ve-a2a) got a blue paint on them. Have a look.... Thanks in advance...ghost

Those heads are for a Ford 460.

FoMoCo heads, big port, probably from a lincoln I think is what the "v" means. They are smog era heads. Probably worth about $50 to the right buyer.

1973 and later 460 Ford heads. Not as desirable as the D0VE heads but certainly usable on a big block. Better than the D2VE heads in that they are a closed combustion chamber of about 97cc, while the D2VE were very detonation prone withan open chamber.
They are NOT Lincoln specific, regular Ford

  5. I'm pretty sure they are for a 1968-72 ford 429/460. 2.09" intake and 1.65" exhaust with 88cc chambers.

Damn... You guys are on it as always. Are they desirable enough to keep them out of the junk pile? And does any hamber have a need for them (free). Sorry local pickup only...ghost

Like I said, decent heads, better than the D2VE. I don't need them but someone should.

  10. I thought that seemed off when I typed it. Might have helped if I read the right line on the page.

I would'nt throw them away, but then I'm a BBF guy.

Put a ad on Craigslist for $50 and someone that can use them will snap them up in a hurry.

That way you made $50 for cleaning up the neighborhood.

THe D3AE-A2A heads are 88CC Chambers. 2.09 Intake valves and 1.65 exhaust valve. Not a bad head for street use.

Same size valves and ports as the early heads, just a larger Combustion Chamber.
