Thank you for posting these, Dan! Regardless of the outcome (which I enjoy), I can certainly appreciate the time you've put into these photos and taking more time to post them here. 5 star vote from me.

well, since you asked here's how I got it figured. a couple of artsy pics like you do is cool, but I really like to see what the car actually looks like. I always look at your posts, but I like them more real.

but if everyone took the same picture at the same angle from the same distance with the same lens on the same camera then what would we do?:)

That is totally cool and legit and respect that desire. I do actually strive to keep the car looking like what it really looks like in most cases, but alter the picture to reduce the effects of dull light or too much glare and all the other chairs, awnings, reflections and so forth. There are cases where I do get crazy with them too. My main goal, with car show pictures at least, is to show the cars in an ideal and to the degree possible, artistic way - which is, of course, always subjective. When doing a shoot where I have control of the car placement, when we shoot, where we shoot and so forth, I try to make them both realistic and like these. I definitely do a lot to alter the scene in many cases to give the car a more attractive setting than what was available at the time it was shot. Thanks for taking the time to check these out.

OUTSTANDING pictures my only complaint is that you didnt get a pic of my truck at the LSRU or you jut havent had time to get it posted. With any "luck" it is still in your stack of pics to download.
It was my first roundup but want be my last.I think next year my wife and I will start ours on Thursday.
