Folks Of Interest one more time, austrian guy in california 4th june - 8th june

I am going to visit on 7th june the first time the POMONA swap meet. One of a dream come true.
I will arrive late on 4th june on the Airport LAX.
So I have Friday and Saturday time to go down to San Diego and back to Pomona.
Could anyone tell me a few good places to visit between L.A. and San Diego?
- good restaurants
- good bars
- junkyards
- car meetings
- points of interest

Anyone is intersted to meet me on this way?

Go here: Gene Scott's Antique Ford Parts, in Rosemead, Ca,
East LA, you can just walk though the door into 1952 LA hotrodders' headquarters. Really.

 

After visiting the meat swap, you could stop at Lordsburg for a ale and food (the food at the meat swap is overpriced junk.) It's very close to the meat swap (about a mile and a half or so.) Here's the website http://lordsburgtaphouse.com/
