For those who first welcomed me to the site a few weeks ago and asked about my56 Crown Vic project I thought I'd give a little bit of an update.I picked up my AOD from Dan at Silver Fox Transmission Sunday and want to thank Jeffb2 for turning me on to him and all the valuable info he has provided about the AOD swap. (Click Click Raceing)He took a 4r70w I picked up and the aod from a 91 T-bird and built me a ****** for less than $400.00 I think thats a great deal and wanted to let any one needing late model ford transmission work to give him a call. Jeff I hope it's OK to do that here. Any way I decided to stay with the 312 Y block and not go with the 302. Its still in the shop being put togeather. I bought the Isky E 4 cam and modified the 57 intake and have done some port and polishing. I also decided to go with the Borgenson power steering and power front disc brake set up.I haven't bought the transmission adapter for the Y yet, I keep hopeing something less expensive will show up. The weather will be changing here in Mo. so I'll start back up on the sheetmetal work soon.Sorry no pictures to post yet. Thanks all Duane
