online old car classifieds?

where do you guys look online for project cars? besides the obvious one like ebay and this site.

 

if we all told you , that would take the fun out of the hobby

 

I like Collector Car Trader -- www.cctol.com or www.collectorcartraderonline.com

They have a lot of stuff, and the search engine works really well. But don't bother with the worthless search fields on the main page -- click "Search" on the homepage right away and it takes you to a way better advanced version.

I look right here first. Then I ask around locally, check the local papers everyday untill they tell you, "Buy it! This ain't a lie-berry!"

The Trader site seems to be OK but I don't have a link for you. I've had good luck with them.

 

We get 3 or 4 people in the car, fill up with gas and beverages, and go driving. Winter kinda slows you down, because it's hard to tell what you're looking at when it has a foot of snow on it. Take a spotting scope for those distant shiny things a quarter of a mile from the road.
