Looks like a nice piece. Plenty of AU guys on this board and plenty of containers that go back and forth.
    Maybe one will step up.

I’ll probably be in Australia in November, but I don’t think that would fit in a carry on...

  8. I know some people who bring a lot of cars into Australia from the U.S., but you would have to find someone exporting stuff out of Sydney. (closest port). Internal freight here would kill you, it's a big place.
I have bought & sent small stuff to the U.S. for others by mail here on the HAMB, but that thing is another story.
What does the U.S. buy from here? Maybe you could contact a shipping agent at your nearest port for some ideas, and someone in NSW (Sydney area) can help out getting it into the container here. Most (if not all) stuff at Hare & Forbes is made in Far-far Northern Australia (China), so it is probably available in the U.S, just painted a different colour.

  9. Well after he told me only sold in Australia , he asked if I had a contract in Australia, I said no but New Zealand yes. He said only in Australia. Hummmm

I believe Karl at "MakeitKustom" on YouTube showed how that machine works on one of his videos while he was in Oz...

  13. That was my thought, although I noticed they don't list any 'country of origin' info on anything they sell. But then again, some distributors enter into manufacturing contracts for exclusive models, that may be the case here. I know Grizzly here in the US does that to a degree, although theirs are usually just a variation on an existing model. But with the exchange rate putting that at about $4K US, that makes this an extremely attractive deal, possibly even with shipping and import duties. Baleigh doesn't have anything even close in that price range with those features.

They say they have a showroom in NZ, are they telling you a NZ guy can't buy one?

  15. I screenshot the email in abit.
The fellow in Australia asked if I had a contact in Australia. I said no but New Zealand I have several. He replied no, unfortunately only within Australia.
Never mentioned the store in NZ

  16. I don't understand why they would not sell you something and deliver it to a freight forwarder of your choice.
It's obviously too big of a deal for Fedex/UPS or a courier company.

  17. No clue to me, I can’t answer for their thinking or restrictions or reasons or the guy emailing me.

  18. My thinking would be you organise your freight forwarding for shipping. You buy the item with a credit card and for delivery details to give the address of the shipper. They deliver it there (because they do deliver.) Seems straight forward to me, but hey? Some businesses are weird.

Never mentioned NZ and basically “only in Australia “

  22. Okay, well he did offer for someone from the 'export team' to contact you.

  23. The Machinery House website pretty clearly marks country of origin on stuff when it is not made in China and then seem to conveniently omit any mention of country of origin on stuff that looks exactly like all the other brands that come from China. I would be very surprised if that power hammer was not made in China and they just forgot to label it as such on their website.

  24. I said yes

  25. I see the metalmaster paint job and name on a lot of exactly the same stuff that has different paint job and different name. Clearly the same item. Trust me I’ve been looking for this one
