It's just 120 vs. 120.7mm difference. I guess there should be some way... Or I'll just get some old five spoke wheels for a Beemer and be done with it.
If you ask me......i almost bought one of those aout 3 years ago, but then realized two euro projects where hard enuff to tackle and kept w/ them (im such a poor bastard) One day i'd love to have a commodore coup to lowride properly....someday maybe! Welcome and all!
The Swedish police forces use these Opels during the sixties and then replace them with Plymouth Valiant. They were popular as taxicabs too. Here are some pics of police Kapitän.
The big Opels were comon as "raggarbilar" on the 70:s in sweden and there were many of them that was drunked down when the crusing in week end nights
Hopefully they are "cupro nickel" lines that are pretty popular as replacements in the UK. They aren't subject to hardening and cracking like straight copper and, of course, they never rust. Here's a link: http://www.automec.co.uk/frame_set.html
Thanks for all the positive comments - by the way, that police Kapitän sure looks cool. Today, I handed it over to my friend so I could hear it drive-by. Now I'm kicking my ass that I didn't make a video with my phone, that 283 sounds pretty healthy through the glasspacks.
