    Hello HAMB members,

I have not been on here for a while. I kind of got away from message boards but find myself missing them and working my way back to some of ones I was a part of.

I was in the dealership business for 25+ years and the end of 2021 walked away. I was going to do my own thing but not sure what. I initial plan was buying fixing and flipping classic cars which had been a hobby of mine since I was a teenager. I had always planed on supplementing some income by offering to ship cars when I was running somewhere to pick one up myself and had an empty trailer on the way.

I started offering this service early on in 2022 and it quickly became my new full-time gig. I have no desire to haul 3 Hondas on a wedge from dealer to dealer. I focused hard on catering to the enthusiast market. I'm a hard core gearhead and love getting to be a little part of my clients car life. Whether its rusty fresh out of a field or perfected show car I take care of each one like its my own.

I offer open and enclosed transportation. I'm actually going to be upgrading both my trailers soon but currently using these:
-Open 2021 20ft with winch with 82.5" between fenders This is only a limitation on trucks with wider that stock wheel tire combo so any HAMB friendly stuff will be fine(upgrading to a 38 ft 2/3 car capacity soon )
-Enclosed 1999 pace 24ft. with winch. This is a dependable but ugly hail damaged trailer that I bought as a experiment last year. I had only been doing open and had a couple requests for enclosed. Once I had it my requests for enclosed skyrocketed. I am actively shopping to replace it right now

I am fully aware I'm not going to have instant trust here but I hope to quickly earn it.
I was trusted to haul the Copperhead TV show truck to the Grand National Roadster Show for Stacey David this year. I also hauled a vintage Cadillac for the old Pro wrestler Jake The Snake.

I'm fully licensed and insured with a 150K cargo policy

I'm currently a one man show and have a family at home. I can't do as much as I would like to but I would love the opportunity to try to help you out. I constantly run about a 5-6 hour radius of Dallas TX but I usually do 2-4 longer trips a month. I try to keep them 1500 mile of less from Dallas and prefer they are either to , from or through TX /OK area so I can plan back and forth from home base.

A couple more services I offer

-parts shipping (great for bulky or heavy items that most people don't want to mess with)
-buyer service (see something you want out of town that they only deal in person?)
-inspection service (have a car you are on the fence on but you don't have time to go see it? I have many years of paint and body business experience and can tell you if it a turd or not)

not sure if it's allowed to mention but I post a lot of stuff on tiktok and Instagram under hotrod.haven_transport

I look forward to working with you guys and gaining the trust of this community.

Thanks for letting me share my business

Thank you for the courtesy of your response. Love the 60 Cadillac hearse. "Don't let your first ride in a hearse be your last." Lucas

I've used Richard in the past. He is easy to deal with and stands behind what he says. Thanks Richard. I look forward to using your services again. Thanks

Just want to add my two thumbs WAY up for Richard at Hot Rod Haven! I initially called BenD who was out of the area, so he sent me to Richard, and glad he did. Rapid communication through the whole process, stuck to his bid and timing 100%, and went above and beyond transporting the car for me. Highly Recommended HAMB hauler!!!

Well was finally able to upgrade my enclosed trailer. Was able to work a deal on a 28ft with large escape door. Pretty booked up the next few weeks but I do have a last second opening for tomorrow 5-30 DFW to Kansas City. must either be operable or have enough manpower handy to push it in since I have been so busy I have not attached a winch yet.

Was getting so much spam on my personal phone I also broke down and added a business number. Looking to get some HAMB friendly pics in the new trailer. I did haul a showstopper Pantera last week along with several other late model luxury cars. They pay the bills and but just borning traffic to me.

Hello everyone. I have immediate 1 or 2 spots available. Texas to South Dakota, and then one spot back from South D akota.

Also, mid October, I have room for 1 or two back from Southern California 20240731_172933.jpg

So much cool stuff going on lately. A lot of it isn't appropriate to post here, but I definitely, can this one. Hot Rod Garage in sand springs, oklahoma, painted this masterpiece after it had a door fly open and damaged the car. I was trusted to haul it to the owner.

I'll be picking a couple of cars up at the Gathering at the Rock to take to socal speed shop. As of right now, I still have opening to bring one or two back from California.

Picked up these 2 sweet rides in Bartlesville today. Headed to SoCal Speed shop with them.
Still looking for stuff to bring back.
Plan on heading through Vegas, Southern Utah, Albuquerque and back to Dallas. If you're willing to wait a week after for me to go East, I'll also be going as far as Charlotte, North Carolina 20241012_153755.jpg

I had Richard move my 61 Comet from TX to B-Ham, AL. He bent over backwards to help out with timing. The move happened exactly as scheduled, was perfect in every way and the car was as it was before leaving TX. Highly recommend him. Will use him again if and when the need arises!
