open driveline swaps?

Hey all I've got a 1952 chev styleline deluxe with the stock engine and trans that i would like to do an open driveline conversion on, but still retain the 3-on-the-tree manual trans. Any folks been through this before? Any advice would be greatlt appreciated! Thanks for your time! Shifty
