Whats up guys. This is for people up in the spokane and coeur d'alene area. Well I am thinking about moving up to Spokane or possibly Coeur d'Alene from Los Angles. Now before you go saying no more cali people, I use to live in Spokane but moved down to cali for school 8 years ago. Now if I move up there I was thinking of opening up a custom fab shop. Now what I would like to know is how strong is that market up there? Is there any good shops up there right now? Any info would be great. Thanks
Tim's Hot Rods and Extreme Customs are probablly the most well known, built the Zephyer and Airflow that sold @ Barrett-Jackson. There are a decent amount of guys building out of small private shops but I don't think they are working full time at it. Was working on opening up my own shop recently but I got so backed up with work I didn't have the time or space to really take advantage of it all, so I build on the side (and continue to hunt for a regular job in a body shop) untill I can get setup propperly to really go at it. I do think the market here is pretty good for fab/custom work, everybody seems to have a project going that they need work done to; and if you do quality work and are dependable you'll be booked solid with work here.
