Well, I guess I'm just a lower-class citizen than you , because I eat bologna sammiches. They make a turd that stinks just like whatever you eat.

Nice Camaro Andy, I had a 67 Formula S Barracuda I would love to having back.
And please keep us posted on the 32 progress and see if you could talk the new owner into joining the HAMB for some inspiration on his new project.

To bad that it's not likely that you can save the window sticker with the car. Camaro or not I appreciate you bringing the story and the pics here.

I hope you can get more for us.

    Thanks

Andy, to heck with anyone who wants to bad mouth your camaro. It's a fairly nice looking car and seems to meet your requirements. The 3 window '32 is an awsome animal and I tend to like it more but I definitely understand why you would want someone with a restoration background to own it. BTW you will be able to remain close to the car through the build and that's awesome.

Awesome find! I understand wanting your restoration friend to own it. It is a decision that appears to be in the best interest for the '32.

Sweet Camaro BTW. I come from the land of Camaros. It was a 79Z that got me into cars in the first place, and I like any car that warrants any sort of special interest to me. I guarantee that if it were not for my Z, I would have never bought my 48 Chevy. My long term plans if I ever sell the 48 are to get a bone stock Model T or Model A fordor sedan.

Cars are just plain cool, man. Unlike wives, you can try them all and not get in trouble for it.

Welcome to the HAMB Andy!:) The land of put down and being bitch slapped for doing the right thing................ makes me proud to be a member! ( tell the negative nimrods to kiss your ass!)

  10. Well putting my CSI/MONK goggles i see newer roof rafters and studs sistered into this shed/ building to keep it together

they did this work without moving the car

bet the key is in one of those cans on the wall

someone went to a lot of trouble to keep this covered albeit late after it was in the elements / dirt floor for such a long time......

hope the some DNA from MR HOFFA is still usable

THANKS FOR THE TOUR I CAN ALMOST SMELL THE DAMPNESS!!!!

hope your bud restores it to stock .. Ooops did i say that out loud!

and its a 3 window to boot, wow..Yes, post some more pics if you can. I would have loved to had a shot that 32, Hang around and post some more pics, you may get hooked on the early stuff, the deal is, a shot at a 32 3window for most of us might be a once in a lifetime opportunity...the camaro is what you want and its cool too. I've got a 67 RS coupe and convertible, i like em, they scratch a different itch for me, but arent for this site for sure.

  14. wow!!! Andy thanks for sharing on the main board. 32 3 window at the top of the list, your friend owes you one for the hand off. Considering you dont have the space or resourses to bring her back the best thing is to make sure it get into the hands of somebody who does!!

    Please keep us updated

Andy finds a car and although he knows what it is and probably what it is worth and although he cant take it on he doesnt try and stooge the old guy and make some quick bucks by flipping it, instead he puts a mate onto it with the ability and resources to get it built just as the owner wanted. I can only speak for myself Andy but IMHO this board can sure use a lot more guys like you.

  17. I agree 100% with what panhead said

  18. We can debate the ins an outs of this, but theres really only one issue here...........another 32 saved! Ya hoo.

Just a bit of advice. When removing this 32 from the garage. WEAR PARTICAL MASK. Who knows what rat feces or bacteria will become airbourne.
Both My dog and I got a serious case of pnemonia. I was out for the count for atleast a week. Trust me I am healthier than three men but this kicked my butt.
The dog almost died. She recouped after her lungs were drained.

  22. I LIKE muscle cars, but there aint a Camaro in the world that wouldnt go down the road for .30 cents on the dollar for a steel '32.

That thought had crossed my mind. I may not own a hot rod, but I would never put down a guy who didn't even own a car for joining a car web site. I do understand what it's like to get old and cranky, so it's all good.:)
I joined the HAMB so I could bring this story to the guys that would dig it the most. Thanks for all of the kind words, and I will keep you posted.

BTW, it's in a garage with a cement floor, but Ohio is not know for its rust free cars. Thanks for the tip about the rodent poop dust, good advice.

  24. A Camaro of any year over a '32 Ford anything BARN FIND? Oh he's on crack.

Great find! Without your work passing the tip to your friend, the old man may have sold it off to someone that merely flipped it on ebay (hope your buddy fixes it up and keeps it). Or it would have rotted another 30 years.

At any rate, it's one more 32 3/w on the road!

Can't help think how much cancer ate up that body in only 20 years of road use (32-51).

Post more pics when you get it out.

Great find. Not trying to be a "teaser" but I recently saw a garage filled front to back, side to side and floor to ceiling with junk. But buried under all the junk stuff is a 1950 Merc convertible and a 1965 Corvette convertible. Been there 20 years for sure and they are NFS. :(
