I need your opinion/help on wether or not I should notch the rear of the my roadster build for extra clearance. I am running Aldan 11.5 inch coil over shocks with a 4 bar to an Ford 8 inch rearend. I have about 2 1/2 inches of clearance now with the shocks placed on the middle hole. I was going to move the shocks down to the last hole, lowering the car another 1/2 to 3/4's of an inch. Is this enough clearance?
Notch it now and you will not regret doing so. Both of my cars are notched and I know for a fact that that couple inches of extra travel was well worth it.
