I have a black N' Blue all-over longbed 64 f100. Has wimbledon white steel wheels blackwalls and the same caps you have pictured. {Not the original caps as you may well know}
Just the way I want it to be. just business. No fake door lettering either. Not lowered.
And yes these old trucks need front disc brakes!

Option 3 all the way and get the stance nailed down. It'll be looking good.

 

@Ryan -

At the risk of being BANNED ... I say run a set of Billet Specialties or Budnik wheels (18s in the front & 20s in the rear) wrapped in 35 series rubber ... they'll go great with your disc brakes!

All joking aside ... I like Option #3.

#3 with caps! That truck style can take some big tires. So a good rubber rake and a nice vintage red wheels with caps! Second choice would be the five spokes all around,again good rubber rake!

Black wheels, no rings, with or without caps.
Keep looking for front wheels, and when you get them you can swap between steel and mags depending on your mood. (Or screw with people by running different on each side!)

Hold out for the matching five spokes, for the front.

 

Yup...if you already have the rear ET's, score a pair of 15" ET's for the front....they're out there. But I may be a little biased

Classy-looking, easy to keep clean for a daily.

Same size tires all around, it's a tool not a toy.

 

Id go with the steel on front and the ET on the rear. Just keep on hunting for 15" ET for the front. Now that everyone knows what you have been looking for I bet a set will show up.

I have TTO's on mine and really like the look. There are a lot of options to see on the show me your f100's thread and the unibody thread

I hope option 3 is what's "obvious" to you Ryan. The truck is pretty damn nice for a '64 work truck. Anything else would be doing this fine old survivor an injustice. By the way, back in '64 black walls, white rims, and dog dish caps were referred to as "surfer style" in So Cal. Everyone was running that set up, until it was replaced by black walls, black rims, and dog dish caps. That was "lakes style". Any So Cal guy who grew up here in the early 60's knows that. If they don't, they didn't hang around the right places!
