Im building a 27 T Bucket using a 1964 260 V-8,3 speed std. nothing on this car is newer than 64 . It's built low and very traditional as an early 60's low buck Hot Rod. I want to drive this thing alot and I already have radial blackwalls cause they where cheap and should drive well, but now I found a deal on some tall skinny wide whitewall bias plies. Which is going to be more original and or cooler ? Most of the pics. in my collection of '65 Car Craft and Pop Hot Rod mags. show blackwalls or thin whites. Opinions fellow Trad. Rodders?
Whats the paint scheme, what wheels, if it's low buck style I would run blackwalls, if it has a custom paint and chrome or custom wheels I would run the whitewalls.
I had the same problem on my low buck T, I have 5 16 inch tall www but only needed two because I'm running a 15 inch rim in front. I thought I had it covered with port a walls on the front but they won't lay down right. So anyhow I've got both until I get the bucks for a front set.
