Well I have been wanting to start building a car for some time, but money and work issues just kept stoping me. So Friday night I sold my 2000 Harley and Sat moring went to Pete and Jakes and ordered one of there 1932 rolling chasis. My skill is still relatively low but I am going to do what I can on this and barter or pay for what i can not. Its a 1930 Model A Sedan hiboy with a small block chevy and a T-5 wish me luck and I will probably have sevral questions too . thanks
You fuckin gold chainer... Are they building the chassis to fit an A sedan, or just like a regular 32? Deuce frames don't fit A sedans worth a shit unless you take at least a little out of the front. I pinched my front frame horns 3 inches and widened the rear 4. Gimme a holler. -Abone. PS. I saved you a room for the Drags.
I ordered one from them a month ago, it arrived early. I assembled it last week. Everything fit perfect!!!!! If this is the way your going to build a chassis, Pete and Jakes is the way to go.
To quote Clint Eastwood ... " a man has to know his limitations ... If it gets you on the road and riding ... SO WHAT ... Do not let most of the folks give you any stuff about either . You will have a great frame, welded by professionals and engineered to work. Nothing wrong with being safe and speeding up the progress CONGRATULATIONS ... you will ride a LOT SOONER ...
