I just came across this site while looking for blower info. I'm starting work on a well rusted 49 merc 2dr which I intend to run a blown boss429, C-6, 9". Hoping I can utilize some of the knowledge that I see displayed on this site. Anyone out there put a BB ford in a merc before? Thanks--------Dewey
A blown Boss 429 in a Merc? Welcome, Dewey - I think we'll get along just fine... I haven't done this swap, but it seems straight forward to me - figure where you want it to sit and make accomodations, concerning firewall, motor mounts, exhaust, etc... PM me, if you get in over your head. I'm in Medford, but go to GP once a month or so and can stop by RR... Have fun with it! Scotty
