I may have blown out too many birthday candles to be a genuine newbie, but such is life. There's not a whole lot I can offer this community--yes, I read the "read first" and I understand what HAMB is about--but youse guys know so much that's useful that I hang out here anyway, though our common ground (if any) is the one-off road racers of the '50s and '60s. I mean, hey, right now I'm driving a cild rod; registered Monday with the DMV as a 1962 Lotus Seven Replica, but with a 32 horse turbocharged Kubota diesel--a car even the Beach Boys would sneer at. Anyway, I'll continue to lurk and learn, I'll show respect for the HAMB culture, and I'll either stay on topic or send PMs if I can't keep my mouth shut. I truly appreciate this community of traditional hot rodders, and if I can be of any help to anybody here, I'll be over at www.kineticvehicles.com making homebuilt sports car parts.
Welcome, Jack! It seems like wherever I go I'm a newbie to something or another, but what fun would life be if we already knew and experienced everything? Dude...
