    You should just clear coat it and drive it with that great bodywork...

    No paint on the car this coming summer just Gibbs I have to show off Flops work it will be at Goodguys Columbus if you want to check it out or talk to my beautician.

    I used UP door moldings on my coupe and it might have been my body but with a finished paint stick gap the little tongue on the back of the bottom that protrudes back just kissed my door jam so we had to modify it to keep from scratching the paint.

    Yeah I ground the edge off of it and welded it up .

    After your done with ^^^^ his, heck I’ll cook ya breakfast, lunch, dinner and give ya a nice roof over your head with a comfy futon & few days to go hit some shop tours and the beach..... ;). :)!!!!!!!

    Flops thread deserves to be about his metal skills, I have decided to "self clean up my post" and delete what I thought at the time was funny when in reality it was not.

    Wheel and tire difference . Both sides are different styles . I prefer the 40 ford style though

    A couple questions for Flop, if I may:
    -post #179 shows a somewhat wrinkled deck lid before and after metal finishing. Are you hitting the damaged area with a body file then pulling the low spots up with weld studs and a slide hammer? Using a slapper?
    -what are you using to produce the final brushed finish?
