    A case of beer...

  4. The one I have sitting at my friends shop was a good solid runner from a 64' chevy, and was $100.

ONCE AGAIN, it's worth what ever the buyer and seller agree on. if your selling ask $2500, if your buying offer $50. Somewhere between there is a number that both of you will settle on.

Seems like alot of appraisals questions lately, I'd check your craigslist for your area for what there going for as different parts of the country have different prices, probably because of supply and demand. I know where there is a 64 283 with 1,100 original miles on it for 100 dollars, but it had a washer dropped down the carb and it beat the top of the piston up, so it just depends.

Being that Dat Dirty Rat is from Rochester, I'm ***uming it's Genesee Beer...

    I bought a short block 62-66 283 for $50.00
