I hope you're the winner, because I know it'll be done right if you are. The car needs to restored. This thread has been both fun and frustrating for me. I love to see that the car finally came back out in public, but the OP was making me real nervous that maybe the car wasn't going to be restored.

Assuming I am the "OP" then yes I have no intention of restoring...I just hunt for the rare and unique and bring them out of the shadows...sorry for your frustration!

I'll admit that I've seen lots of threads on the HAMB where guys find cars with special history and then decide to build a Rat Rod out of it. I jumped to conclusions, I guess, and I apologize.

And OP, no one said you couldn't afford to restore it. In your first post, you said you were going to keep it as is and drive it. Now, after reading what a lot of US would do with it, you put it up for sale. Well, hopefully the new owner has a plan before he buys it.
