i had an awesome time at the show (had the car there too). I didnt have any problems with people sitting in my car or being disrespectful. I thought it was pretty cool that James came out and saw the cars and handed out the trophys. Definetly going to go again next year if they have it.

the show was bad *** ya theres prob afew things that can make it better.you cant go in and out because of the liability its just like the indoor car shows you cant take your car out until its over .tell me what car show do you get a free ride in on friday you were there with nobody there and got to check every thing out and got to see matalica do a sound check and play a few songs . every car got 2 150.00 tickets to get in with ,you were able to get in the show BEFORE gp each day . most of the people there were regular people and arent car people and didnt know any better about opening doors and things like that i dont know about rope around all the cars some times to many rules **** things up . maybe for the out side cars there can be a roped off area and as groups of people enter the area they are told NOT to touch any off the cars . i can go on and on but wont the show kicked *** the trophys were bad *** the cars were kool we had a blast chopping a car IN A ****ING MATALICA CONCERT who ****ing dose that!!!! the festable was a gl*** act and sucsess

Anybody have a pic of the trophys that were commisioned? A very talented guy (Jay) from San Marcos, Texas built them, I'm told, and I never saw the finished product. any pics?

 

I agree Dennis, I had a great time and would definately do it again next year, if you guys will have me again..Metallica kicked ***, one of the best live bands I have seen, my 2 complaints with them is, they played the exact same set both night, I know they have ALOT of gret songs where they coupld have played different sets each night, and last, it would have been nice when James was thanking people, if he thanked the guys for bringing the cars out. Honestly, those are my only 2 complaints, again, I had a great time.
