I wanted to make it out last year. I had pre-registerd and everything but on the morning of the show my finance' said she didnt feel good and that it was raining and some other bs excuse and she didint wanna go and that if i went that i didnt love her or something. Sooo i dumped her and I will be there FOR SURE this year even if my car breaks and I have to hitchhike

Nads my buddy, how many cars you expecting this year... any special rates at the Destination Harley hotel ??

 

Ken, we don't know, we never have a goodly amount of pre-registrations but all I can tell you is that hotel is sold out. Hopefully it'll be a good turn out, we had 200 cars the year before last, last year was a disaster because the weather was terrible.

 

When I went to purchase my $147.00 round trip special from Spirit it had increased over $100 so I didn't get it. I'm still hoping to get a cheap last minute flight out. I've been checking Orbitz daily. Anything under $150 I can swing and I'll be there. If not, well...I'll be sad and blue over that weekend thinking of you all in the warmth and sunshine having fun at a car event.

So hotel is sold out, anything near by?

 

theres a days inn right accross the street from destination daytona plus a few other motels right there within 1/4 mile gettin a room nearby wouldn't b a problem

I just got 2 rooms there on Friday afternoon for $69.00 each

 

So there are rooms Glen? I can't seem to get a straight answer. Brian you got the Comet done huh? Awesome. Dan I really hope you make it, it wouldn't be the same without you.
