OT: Accidents suck!

So i was heading north up to thousand oaks when this happened! I had an awesome view of the linoln's undercarriage. Sure put a damper on my day! I wasn't the worst off, but my commuter car is no more.

I had that happen to me over two years ago, except it was a Malibu ended up underneath my 91 half ton. I ended up with horrible whiplash that haunts me to this day. Do yourself a favor and get checked out.

I've seen that happen a few times. Glad you're not seriously hurt. Sorry about your Honda, but glad it wasn't a cooler car you were driving today!

Anything can happen. Some old lady in a Buick ran up onto my friends front fender and on his windshield in his 85 Mustang. She probably wasn't doing anymore than 20 either. She didn't see him!!! Over 90 years old.

Here is my Honda after I got a love tap from a Ford Explorer. Totaled and I bought a truck!

 

Gives new meaning to the words "crumble zone."

 

Try crumple. Crumble zone is your lap after eating too many cookies.

And to the guy recovering from #13 in 8 years... please surrender your drivers license... jesus.


Be glad you were driving a modern car and not one of our death traps. An open wheel car would have likely faired a lot worse in that situation.

Yeah, it was a fun accident. I was the last car in a wreck caused by a woman driving WAY to fast. I have no idea how i ended up under the lincoln. The best part is that my hood got peeled back like a banana and when they pulled the lincoln off of the honda the battery box popped out and tore the battery in half. Luckily everyone walked away without any injury.

Hope you're alright, but make sure you get yourself checked out GOOD. 15yrs after getting "love tapped" by a tractor trailer tow truck I'm still dealing w/the pain & neck & back problems. Monday I go in to get a 4th disc fused in my neck & then have to wait 14plus weeks before they can start on my lowwer back again. And all of this from a 10-15mph "Love Tap"...joe

 

I hope you got that disc brake 9" while you were under there...
