I know this is off topic so delete it if you need to. I was just wondering with all the expert fabricators on the Hamb if anyone has built an adjustable grill to use over a permanent fire pit. I just built an in ground fire pit at my cabin and was looking for ideas. The grill would need to adjust up and down and swing off to the side to load it or remove the food. Please post any photos if you have built something like this. Thanks Brian

No pics, but a friend of mine made one like this. He put a pole in the ground vertical, and a hinged pole\pipe horizonal on top of that. The top pipe balance like a tetter totter, but was secured by a rope or cable so it would not fall in the fire. At the other end of the pipe he had three chains secured that went down to support a circular grill that you could swing over the fire when you wanted to cook. The pipe in the ground was only about four foot high. You could swing it off to the side or over the fire. It was pretty slick.

Hope this gives you some ideas,
    Good Luck
