OT- avatars

Some of you have really cool avatars- but I have noticed I can't enlarge them to check them out. I am new to the board- maybe I just haven't figured out how. Biggest I can get is saving it and viewing it in the my pictures folder only it gets blurry when I zoom in. Any way to do this? Thanks David

 

Avatars are extremely small pics (generally jpgs), and no, you can't enlarge them worth a darn. They are small so that they don't take up a lot of server space.

 

thats because you gotta make them small to post them as an avatar.

Avatars are controlled by a secret underground society of midget insect porn stars. To them, they look like drive in movie screens and they think that's just groovy. If they enlarged them to where WE might think they're of adequate size, it would just look like dots to them...and it's thier world, Homie.

Someday computers and internet stuff might be more scientific...but for now, it's just the way it is. (sigh).
