That still always amazes me that things like that still exist across the country. Being from So.Calif all my life, you would never find anything like that around here. Cool pix, thanks for sharing them!
the cuda started breaking when they tried to move it so they left it there. **** THAT you gotta find away to get that mother ****er home, metal can always be replaced.
Sadly the Cuda was too far gone to save. Some of the others though. I don't know. FYI... part 5 is up. www.carsinbarns.blogspot.com
Chain the front axle to the rear axle, tighten (not too much) with binders, and scoop it directly onto a rollback. It also helps before trying to move it to jack it up at both ends and perhaps put a junk hood under the front as a skid or put some good tires on and fill up any holes in the ground from the old tires with dirt/rocks/etc. Or just examine where it's rotted and cut it right in two on the spot and take it in two big chunks.
I picked up a low production "2,545" 1967 AMC Marlin last weekend to part out $$$$$.The deal was I had to deliver a O/T Ford and a 1967 Dodge Charger to get it. No problem since I have a car trailer with a big winch. What was cool was they had just pulled the Charger out of a falling down barn and there was yet another 67 Charger still in it! Piles of Charger parts strewn all through out the barn too.Sad thing is the cars owner will never drive again due to brain injuries.....
Are any of these for sale? I just can't beleive it. I have wanted a second gen Charger my whole life. Where is this?
I just put all of my friend Scott's Pictures from our little expedition up on the blog. www.carsinbarns.blogspot.com I hope you enjoyed the adventure. Let me know how you like the writing and pictures. Ryan HemiPwr70@aol.com
