    Hello folks..
As some of you know I'm always working on something different, never finishing one but always acquiring new ones and start other ones etc...
One of those is a 1940 Monteplier flatbed.
    Look at the thread here:
    https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1940s-montepelier-dodge-vankenstein.1314132/

Its sitting on a e350 cutaway ex-uhaul ch***is with the 7.3 IDI and C-6 trans.
Recently Ive noticed that it doesn't feel like its going into 3rd and if it does, its slow as we all know.

I took it to a show on saturday and its just not that enjoyable,,I picked up a ZF5 transmission locally but its missing the clutch, flywheel, clutch disc etc..
I feel that it should be a straight fwd swap,
I need info on wheres the best place to look for these parts and what to watch out for..
Should i buy the complete kit or piece it together??
Also should i match it to the transmission or to the engine..I know ford likes to make it difficult .
    So some pics to enjoy.
