    from UTARRGH!

I lived in mckinney for most of my two year mission. I thougt it was a real nice place. Lots of nice houses and there are some nice golf courses too. nice parks. tons of yuppies for sure. but that makes driving a hot rod more fun when they spill their starbucks rubberneckin as you drive by. I dont speak from personal experience cuz I rode a bike everywhere. If you want to live somewhere cheaper try the colony its real close to mckinney but alot cheaper and has more of the rural feel to it. I dont think you could go wrong at either of those places. head south and you start getting to dallas and more congestion and stuff.
I also lived in Irving which wasnt bad at all depends on what part for sure but thats where the Dallas cowboys play football.
I saw Dr. Phil's olds house in Irving. There are nice parts and there are the crapholes just like anywhere.
