Christi, Glad to hear that your are home, and I am sure, under the watchful eye of your mom and dad. HAMBer's are not strangers, though, some may be stranger than others:)!! We are the extended family you never knew you had.(unless you hit Megamillions lottery, then they all come out of the wood work:)!

"ask and ye shall receive" Best wishes on your recovery and continued good health...

    Christi,

Glad you are doing better. I know what it's like to see your daughter labor to breathe. My daughter is only 3 and has some asthma issues, and it got scary there at first but it's under control now. I'll never forgot her sitting in my wifes lap half concious and struggling to get air. She was breathing and we were in the Docs office, but it was a tough thing to look at. She was just so tired from no sleep the night before. I am sure when she is in her 20's I would react the same way. Brings a man down pretty quick. I will always do what I can to be sure she is safe.

What you have hear is one big family. We may not all get along at times and there are a few bad seeds but the good out weighs the bad 100 to 1. Most of us only know a few and have met few but we all know the value of family and prayer. A lot of us put ourselves in the person's shoes and "feel the pain" We would want the same prayers for us if needed. These "Hot Rods" are our way of connecting with each other and are what we spend most of our time with when we are not with our family. Most of us try to incorporate our family into our hobby too.

Take care of your self and give your Dad a big ole hug when ever you can. We love those things.

Wow! Mark, Kelly, I had no idea! I haven't been on the HAMB for about a week until today. I've been reading your updates on Christi's condition, and am sooooo glad she's doing O.K! The replies from everyone are so touching too!
Christi - Gell well soon Darlin', and see you "all better" in Paso! :)
For anyone who doesn't know Christi, her mom and dad; Mark & Kelly, and her brother Jeff, I can tell you they are some of the most genuine, kind, good and very cool people, you could ever meet! I know that sounds cliche' but it really is true.
Christi, I hope you don't mind, but I'm posting a picture of you, so all those who're concerned about you, can put a face to your name.
    I like this picture...
