Doesn't really make any difference what the age ratio is...and it don't make a bit of difference if the younger guys only have half a glass full...mine is way full.

Besides, "fasicious" is actually spelled "facetious"...if that's what you were attempting...and you should use a spell check...better yet, ask your Dad to help you out with the spelling, he's gotta be better than you.

Oh, and all this tongue in cheek talk of your vote being worth 10 has gotten me a good laugh...

No, I don't think any of us old farts here think it's worth 10 votes...you are quite funny and a great wordsmith.

    Thanx for keeping it light.

    I'm not gonna vote.............
I just started my weekend, which means dialup internet at home, which means no youtube, and voting without knowledge is evil.

Someone mentioned Jesse only posts self serving stuff......... last I saw, he posted regarding Lil John - and was helping him out.
Another thing: his previous show, Monster garage, is enjoyed by me, my wife, and my 2 girls, and I value that in him.

I don't know Jesse, but I like him, his family values and his work.

Now for the HAMB side of the story:
I don't like anything thats popular. If the HAMB got so big and popular like, say, modern VonDutch clothing, I'd be disappointed.
I trust Ryan wouldn't let that happen, so no worries there.
Someone mentioned seeing HAMB stickers on Accords. Unless I'm wrong, we don't have cheap easy to get stickers. We have special metal timing tags - not available to boneheads at the mall.
If someone joins because Jesse's here, fine. They have a chance to make a contribution like the rest of us. If they don't like it, they'll childishly leave and be gone.

If this threads still relevant Monday morning, I'll check the youtube from work and maybe have a vote then. Until then, good night all.
    John

Im not voting...........................The out come of this was predetermined. The HAMB followers will vote however Ryan wants them to................. especially AFTER he says how he voted......read his posts..... basically telling you how he expects you to vote........... and what if Corky Coker was doing a TV show?............................

  6. Yeah, but maybe not so much on hot rods. He has my respect as a welder and a chopper builder, but..........That MG show where they built the "rat rod" at the Texas Deaf School...JJ was calling all the shots on that build but didn't really seem to know what he was doing. There had to be a lot of off-camera wrenching to get that build to roll out. That episode, by the way, has mysteriously disappeared from Discover Channel's list of episodes.

i say ok, i happen to like JJ. i would love to know 1/4 of what he accomplished.as far as i have seen he is a great metal man.and if he happens to ad the HAMB into a few episodes then so be it.i think we all would beniffit.
most of the computer nazi`s here would probably split,SO!
i feel we should push our style of "traditional motoring" to anyone who will listen.everyone is so scared of "Selling Out" or making money.the true enthusiest will stay.look we all stayed during the "RAT ROD" crap..
    so,i voted Yes,JJ for Mayor

I don't think you are right, alot of people here, acctually have a brain and aren't just followers. I for one, never concidered, Ryans opinion/vote, on this subject, because it's irrelevant.

  9. If we were all Ryan followers,we would be drivin '38 Fords. Give us some credit.

Now, hang on a second.....I ain't the most tactful guy in the bunch. I am a firm believer of a school's budget going toward education and shit like that, NOT the sports program. Why? Well, maybe my upbringing has skewed my view a bit, I don't know. My former high school still spends little or nothing on their sports program. The "booster club" pretty well supports the program, with little fiscal requirement from the school's budget. New uniforms? Doesn't cost the school a dime. The school pays the coaches' salary....and he/she is expected to be able to perform as a functioning teacher or guidance couselor or whatever, as a condition of that salary. Add to that the fact that I believe if you want your kids to play, you oughta pay.

The school has still cut back the funding for the industrial arts program, citng all kinds of issues with money, despite being supported by, until recently, the highest local property taxes in the area (the town I reside outside of right now recently overtook them in the tax department).

I certainly wish I was in a position to finance their program for them..........................but I doubt many others would join that fight.

I see no relevance between so called "reality Tv" and the H.A.M.B.

HELL NO! is my vote. Further I dont think we're sheep and following any particular party line.
