i remember as a kid my dad takking us to go see two jet cars at our local 1/8th mile track. purely a mom and pop establishment, this place has chain link fince behind the burn out pits and grandstands beind that, all the way down to track level. the announcer had notified everyone to move from the grandstands when the cars came up to start throttling for their own safety, but no one really listened. they sure as hell moved when they stated throttling them up though.
that was just playing with fire... no p***. I remember a special on him on Discovery. I've been looking online and its run in the 6.70 zone at over 215
Is that Les Shockley and the Shockwave? I saw Shockleys rig at MoKan Dragway back in 91 or so when it hat 3 Prat&Whitney engines on it.It was a totaly bad mo fo.That damn thing coming at ya at over a 180 was impressive to say the least. You could actually feel the air moving in front of it.
When I was a kid the whole family went to Lebanon Valley Race Way in NY to see the monster truck show. They had a jet car there. They chained a Gremlin to the back of it and burned it up.
i'll bet he wets the bed EVERY night........didn't you always get told "If you don't quit playing in the fire, you'll wet the bed tonight......." Aunt June was an old battle axe!
stupid psychological foot note to your statement: Many pathological arsonists were habitual bedwetters when younger, many until thier teenage years...
