OT (kind of) - dually tires

  1. Most of the Eighties and Nineties duallies ran 215-85R16LT or 235-85R16LT. No problems with sidewall scrubbing at all. Lots of folks run bigger tires, obviously, but if you want common, not extremely tall, with plenty of capacity, there are your sizes.

    Personally, I think wide whites would look pretty goofy in this application, but it is your truck.

    Theres an 80 year old guy around city of industry LA area that is a former racer. he has a machine shop business that makes safe wheel adapters out of steel. I can't remember how to find him try poking around google
