as a kid in the late 50s and early 60s i built model cars.it got me interested in the real thing. lindberg and aurora put out lots of hotrod models.i started a yahoo club for hotrodmodelcars1950-1970.any one who has box art,ads ect please join and post what you can.i am surprised at all the kool art work on these models, thanks
thanks, thats just what i'm looking for.i had to pick up a lot of soda bottles to buy one of those models back then lol .
How much did we get for those bottles? A penny, or a nickel each? You hit it big time if you found the large bottles. Check Tom Daniels site for box art. Not Lindberg, but some wild stuff. HERE
hey i thought 2 cents a bottle was great.the models were cheap back then.now they want more than i paid for some real cars i drove later on lol.
How bout this? I have always loved that artwork by the late Al Borst of AMT. I built this pair of Deuces as a tribute to him. I have a ton of box art photos on my website.
