Isn't it! All one needs to do is highlight the photo and when the menu opens click on "search image with Google Lens", various options such as "exact matches", etc. to be chosen.
Thanks Anyway Denny, You ***ume I am using a phone(which I am not) & won't use Google for anything. God Bless Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...ar-transport-hauling-open-or-enclosed.614419/
Nope, not ***uming, I don't even own a cel phone, never have, never will, don't need one. So, what's the issue with Google?
Sorry Denny, I thought that was something that could only be done with a phone. I use a search engine that does not track your every move like Google does. There are several, but I use Duck Duck Go. God Bless Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...ar-transport-hauling-open-or-enclosed.614419/
I just use Google because it gets me the required results, I'm not concerned with that whole data tracking, selling, etc., some things in life aren't escapable. I have no personal politics, it's free, so I use it.
Warning, Rant Alert! Growing up in the sixties the only whitewalls were on dressers, ( the famous Goodyear Speed Slip) or on stripped down hogs that the guy bought used and didn't have the money for a blackwall yet. It's probably just me but Man I hate those things. Nothing ruins a cool bike like a set of fake retro whitewalls to me. Rant over. You'll now be returned to your regularly scheduled program.
I like that! Years ago my brother worked for Miller's Custom Parts in south Daytona and a somewhat rougher version of this was in the parking lot, even had the requisite chain from the clutch pedal to the release arm. My brother and I are lying on the hot Florida asphalt looking up under that trike for all the cool 60s/70s details and a bunch of bolt on Evo riders were looking at us wondering what was so special about the flathead. They just didn't get it.
Damn you're old. Nobody remembers running a dog leash from pedal to arm. You probably know what a mousetrap is also. The problem with the 4-5 servicar was that if you polished, ported, bored, stroked, and god knows what else...you'd still only do 55 MPH. Now the flathead 80 was a different beast.
Yes to everything. The Shovelhead I posted in #871 has a mousetrap on it. True on the 45, but they sure look cool. Knew a guy in Florida with an 80 flathead that would walk away from my '74 XLCH. And yes, bought the Sportster new. I was 19.
Warning, Tangent Alert! You see anachronistic whitewalls on cars, too, these days. Wide whites on a 1978 Alfasud? Just because it's an "old car"? It's as if history before 2000 just flows together every which way.
True, it seems like sacrilege, but my wife chides me with, "Why do you care, they're not asking your opinion." And just for the record I had to look up "anachronistic". Nice word choice. Thank you.
I use ****cro... anacrani...anachrom...the big word all the time. it's like a m***ive rectal prolapse, right?
I have one of those "bolt on evos" but I make things on it appear older I.E. spotlight bar & head light, '47 Tank emblems, etc. When the original wwwalls wore out, the additional cost over blackwalls seemed like paying more and getting less. Maybe the thin stripes on an '60s-70s Electra-Glide. As Matt & the gang at WTT say "friends don't let friends run whitewalls.
Yes, it is. By exact do mean matching the OG? In The photo it's hard to tell, but the original had an adjustable Wide Glide, just sayin'
