WAAAM is a great place to really enjoy one the biggest collection of things that fly and roll on wheels ! Terry Brandt has spent a lifetime putting that collection and museum together! Thanks from Dennis.
Always wanted to own a 45 . Seat suspension looking a bit different also . I have one seen 1 Indian trike and it had skirted fenders on the rear also .
I used to ride my 45 up and down dirt roads. Road up into KS with a group of 6 once They ran 52 mph just not to leave me . They ssid it was the most enjoyable ride that they had in a long time . All I can say is enjoy your ride .
I'm down to a couple Ironheads and 5 or 6 of my British twins. They're all fast enough f*ck you up real quick. Than I have a BSA B33 500 single. It tops out at maybe 75 on a good day and is actually kinda relaxing to ride. Gives you more time to spot all those fools on the road trying to kill you.
my current scooter (you know, the one that runs) is a '23 royal enfield cl***ic 350. straight piped, solo seat, leather bags. it's pretty good. tops out about 70-75, can ride it on the freeway, but that misses the point. it's happiest running 50-60 on 2 lane country roads or cutting thru the city. got a PC800 for long distance work and a 99 xl1200s for being rowdy with. but i do love that little single. the old saying it's more fun riding a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow, is true.
Just part of Harley history . Same reason I have a Ford in my Ford , I drive slow ! I’m old and lazy anymore . I would never think of riding two up on a 45 , not sure it would be up to the task .
Honda Nighthawk . Neighbor kid bought one wrecked . I built him a hard tail bobber out of it . Damn scary fast ride
I think maybe the slowest real bike we've had around here was the Triumph TRW I showed back a ways. It's out of Canada, Air Force bike. Talk about relaxing, 55mph was about right. I loved riding that around some, but not registered and not mine.
Both of my Shovels reach a sweet spot where the vibes relax and it’s a nice ride . Both have this terrible vibration at high speed , once you get through it it’s on . But then you have to drop back into it again to slow down
Super nice , I need a bit taller bars and loose the rear bar . The sound of a generator Panhead , is like fine music . It’s nicer than anything I will ever own .
