OT/plastic body repair

I've got to do some serious repairs to a Volvo semi cab that is made of material like a 'vette. Volvo won't give out info and the local paint suppliers don't know. Has any one or have experience doing repairs on a'90's or so vette? Any body work sites?

 

I did some repairs to a Fiero,with similar polymer panels. Check Fiero sites for modern products to use. PITA,as I remember. Flexing is the problem. Good luck. Sparky

 

My guess would be that it is SMC (Sheet Molded Compound). There are special resins designed for it you can use fiberglass mat, but polyester resin dosen't stick to it very well. There are also SMC specific fillers out there. Good luck.
