Here. If yer going to go big wheels, high tech and engine compartment covers, I figure this is about the cl***iest way to do it. The questions section at the bottom is pretty funny.
Like it or not...Troy does amazing work and he is a REAL down to earth guy. His shop is laid back with no drama!
Those questions and answers are worth looking over and over!!!! Thats cool he has enough of a sense of humor to answer them as he does instead of getting angry at BS questions. Seller seems quality people.
Q: Ill be a s.o.b.!!!!!!! A: OK cool, what the hell I'll be one too! For some reason I found that the funniest of all the questions. The guy does seem grounded and aware that he's going to get all kinds of odd comments. He's enjoying it, more people need to do that with Ebay.
I saw that car on display about a year after it first came out. It was at a vendor's booth with no velvet ropes so you could get close. Really impressive craftsmanship and driveline, but wavy bodywork and filler cracking out of the rockers. Stood there in total disbelief after all the coverage it had gotten. We figured it was the kazillion horsepower flexing the car. Wonder if it's still like that?
I would actually give a kidney for that car...anybody need one? By auto lisencing standards, it's a "cl***ic" kidney...Traditional, unmodified and "slightly used."
I heard a rumour Paypal might be setting up to take internal organs for payment. This way they can corner the "pay at the gas pump" market Great to see an eBay seller with a sense of humor. Car's not my bag, but I hope he does well.
I p***ed this car sitting on the side of I-70 in Ohio after the Goodguys Columbus show last year. It was just sitting on the offramp of a rest area waiting on the cars in the parking lot. I almost crashed from staring at it too long
Pretty sure the head Honcho from Billet Specialties is the owner of this beauty! probably time for another off the hook project. I'm a fan of the Chicane and all Radrides projects! When I hit the Lotto I'll be calling Rads & Salinas Boys !
I saw the car in bare metal at Troys shop, not to mention a number of other times thru the years. Simply amazing.
You're right about that. Most of those guys are way too close to GAWD for me but Troy is alright. I talked with him about the car at a show a few years ago. It wasn't running worth a flip and everyone was all head over heals about how wonderful it was. I told him it didn't sound exactly 100% when he had it running and he was right up front about it not running right. We talked for about 30 or 40 minutes about possible solutions. Hell he acted like I had some idea what was going on. Real personable fella.
Now I'd say this is the kind of car that would bring bigger money selling at Barrett Jackson, or am I wrong?
