MAMA Rash here just wanted to say that I would be VERY HAPPY to watch the pup while in Dewey. I can not promise anyone anything... I fall rather fast when it comes to small furry things... [IMG]

Anyway I just wanted to put my 2 cents in and say that it is an honor to be in such good company---You boys & Girls should be very proud---Most people would not even think twice about sending her off to the pound!!! I just wish PAPA would let ME take her home!!! [IMG]
Thanks again Root for thinking of me!

    <font color="green"> Well,

I can't believe you have finally posted on here. I should have warned you about an intro but...

Okay folks, VI**XEN, which is our dogs name, is now my wifes H.A.M.B. name.

I didn't think she would go for MAMA RASH.

    Anyways,

She was raised by a car nut, has always been a car nut, and this is HER car...

Also, she was kind enough to send me some pics of VI**XEN, these are puppy pics....

A32flathead, thats a funny pic. I can just hear it now, "I said a cold one, this ones warm" [IMG].

I have a 122 pound brown female Newfoundland, 2 male cats, one female that just had 2 kittens on easter, and one female about 8 months old from the other females last litter. Her brother got hit by a car last month. We had another female stray that we cared for that died. later plmczy

I hate ****ers that don't take care of their critters. I have 3 dogs, and 2 cats, and they are my family. I found a dog this weekend down at FT. Bragg nc, and he followed me around all weekend. I couldn't keep him, but I brought him all the way back to this clinic in Raleigh that fixes up hurt strays. I'm no vet, but it looked like one of his rear legs was dislocated. When the clinic fixes him up, he'll go to the local SPCA and be put up for adoption. I hope he makes out ok, he is a good dog.

This is Wendy - she is by far the best dog I could have ever been blessed with being owned by. I picked her up at the pound when she was 8 weeks old. Now almost 8 years old. Gets along with the cats, with kids and with just about everyone. Loves nothing more than hopping in the car for a ride any chance she gets. She was thrown away by some *** who didn't realize what he was giving up. All of our animals are rescues of one type or another wouldn't trade any of em for the world.

I never miss a chance to show off my pups... Most of you have seen this.

Dog on the left is my very dainty little girl. She's around 100lbs, very sweet, and very innocent... She's an Akita and her name is Saki. She looks up to to the dog on the right.

He's the boss... He's a hammonds pit bull that goes by Bailey or any one of his "pet" names: Notorious D.O.G., The Big Pun, Red, Hot Rod Dog, M***ive Penalty, and many more...

True story. I was living in oklahoma at the time... It was about 3am and both of my dogs were going nuts. I opened the front door to see what was up and they both jet. I heard my big Akita yelp really loud and painfully followed by what sounded like a little kid screaming ****** hell. I run and get my Glock and then go outside. When I got to the other side of my 1/2 ton chevy truck, I see the entire interior ripped out... WTF? Then Saki came around with her tail waggin and her entire face covered in blood.
I freaked. Where was Bailey? I went around to the back of the truck and he has a teenager by the throat and is not letting go. The kid is in shock just laying there and Bailey is chewin on him pretty good.

Turns out this kid was gutting my truck for the stereo and got caught by Saki. When Saki turned the corner, he kicked her in the face with his boot... This, in turn, set Bailey off who launched for his throat and brought him down to the ground... The other three kids got away.

I finally got Bailey off the guy so I could have a crack at him. I kicked him a few times while he was down and threatened to blow a hole in his head with my Glock. By now the kid was just scared ****less and crying… The cops finally showed up. They cuffed me and put me in the cop car thinking I was the bad guy since I had the gun…

Eventually, it was all cleared up and I still get res***ution checks from the kid’s family. He did about $7000 damage to my truck and hurt my pup. I am still amazed at the comp***ion that Bailey showed the kid by not killing him. He can easily pop tennis balls with his jaws, but just gripped this kid’s throat hard enough to keep him down – no more. He is a pit bull with a heart.

What a neat post...I was afraid to open it...as watching Animal Cops always makes me cry! It warms my heart to see all of the kindess and comp***ion shown to this poor little orphaned dog! Please keep us updated on how this all turns out! Does anyone else besides me get teary-eyed at that commercial with the lost dog getting rides from all the different people? That dumb thing really tugs at my heartstrings...I'm such a wimp. haha

I'll throw my hat in, I'll take her if no one wants her. Let me know how much shipping the pup to STL would be. Our boxer is nearing her death bed, and my boy needs a pup.

I also thought Glock protection was the way to go (26model) but now "Jack" is 10months I don't think I need it anymore.
He also cracks tennis balls in about 10seconds, didn't really think of the power behind that until Ryan mentioned it.
