OT/ Schwinn Stingrays again.........

    Picked up that early Stingray mentioned last week, couldn't find a serial number anywhere, just where did Schwinn hide them. Has 2 speed rear hub and springer front end that super tall sissy bar and a daisy pattern banana seat. [​IMG]

    congrats on the find. look on the headtube, bottom bracket or rear dropout... it's got to be on one of the thee areas.

    It's gonna be on the frame right where the rear hub is. My guess is early 70's.

    You were absolutely right, left outer side of frame. can't believe I didn't see it right of the bat. Bike was built march of 66, perfect. I was just finishing 7th grade and was madly in love with Colleen Connolly. [​IMG] Life is good in Zapato World.

    Picked a very ruff apple crate while visiting my Mom in WA state a few years ago. Made the ladies day when I oofered her 10 buckd for the rusted old bike.

    Made my day when I e bayed for 309.00. People will bu anything (I should know, I'm usually first in line [​IMG])

    You still got those shoebox parts with my name on it?

    Havn't seen you post lately Z, nice to see a familiar face around here lately...

    still here, hopefully my inlaws will make a trip to Yuma this year and we can get it down close to you. [​IMG]

    Yeah.. I should be there. I gotta talk with them. ***** shoe... Jr. has been a full time job! I love having a son but it doesn't leave time for much else. Plus working two jobs don't help much either. I think we should be at the bash. We are gonna bring my truck I think.
