History (OT)..scrap yard find...1955 or 1956??? go cart??

well my pile of ebay quarter midget stuff finally got here..thanks Too Many Fords....played around with it a bit over the weekend,,did a mockup



going to have to split the rear cowl section and widen it about an inch both ways...think i may save that job for spring time..hate doing glass work in an enclosed garage...still need to rebuild the steering shaft, work up some brake and throttle links from up front back to the rear...

yeah, it kinda looked like a sad pile of fiberglass that needed to go into a dumpster that nite..hahahaha....that huge belly pan looks like a shallow sided boat too

yeah, that's what i thought too...needed a lil bit of a garage distraction from working on Lil Beast...after damn near 3 years of working on the topolino, well it is refreshing....something that doesn't overhelm my tired brain....now i gotta get motivated and put the steering together,,pick up a clutch and figure out where to get the propper 2 peice sprocket...i think it'll do a fine job in the snow....
